Key Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans and select appropriate modalities to meet established patient goals in compliance with the Physical Therapy Practice Act and applicable licensing and accreditation standards
  • Provide prescribed physical therapy treatments to facilitate rehabilitation of patients across age-specific, cultural, and rehabilitative needs
  • Assist in evaluating patient progress and contribute to safe and comprehensive discharge planning
  • Maintain thorough, timely, legible, and consistent patient care documentation
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and coordination to maximize patient outcomes
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and treatment areas, and provide education and mentoring for student interns as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy
  • Active California Physical Therapist License issued by the PT Board of the State of California
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Ability to administer all department modalities, programs, and protocols appropriate to the age of patients served
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Prior physical therapy or healthcare experience
