Job Details:
• Monday through Friday schedule with 1 weekend per month required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice (acute care)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; unit accepts first-time travelers
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills required: Acute Care, Assessment, Discharge, Evaluation, Geriatrics, Long Term Goals, Neurology, Orthopedics, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Rehabilitation Hospital, Short Term Goals, and Time Management
• Charting system experience required; Epic charting system used
• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy
• If one major holiday falls within assignment period, traveler is expected to work it
• If two major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work both
• If three major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission
• Scheduling type is block
• Required certifications: BLS, State license (in hand)
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• 8 orientation hours included
