Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role involves providing acute care therapy to inpatient populations, with a focus on evaluating and implementing treatment plans. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Masters degree required; Doctorate (DPT) preferred.
- Current Hawaii state license as a Physical Therapist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification.
- Two (2) or more years of full-time staff experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute inpatient setting prior to any travel assignments.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical center with 500+ beds or a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Additional Information:
- Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start or result in cancellation.
- Candidate must submit a current Nursys report.
- If a registered nurse is not required on their assigned unit, the professional may be assigned to a nursing assistant or safety sitter role, which is expected to be fulfilled.
