Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in Juneau, Alaska. This role involves providing pediatric physical therapy evaluations and treatments across inpatient and outpatient settings. The position requires collaboration with healthcare team members, developing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and families to optimize functional outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Entry level qualifying masters or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program with 2 years proven work and Continuing Education experience. Licensed as a Physical Therapist, current Basic Life Support certification, and a valid drivers license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation.
- Additional Information: Must have an active Alaska Physical Therapist license at the time of submission. Candidates should have Flu vaccinations. The start date is no less than 6 weeks after fingerprints are received at the healthcare provider for processing. The position involves active engagement in patient care, collaboration with other healthcare professionals, documentation, patient education, and administrative support as needed.
