Position Overview A growing healthcare organization seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 90-day onsite contract in Mishawaka, Indiana. This position delivers evidence-based therapy to a varied patient population focused on restoring function, mobility, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities
Monitor patient progress and modify plans of care based on outcomes
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
Supervise PTAs and support staff as appropriate
Requirements
Active PT license in good standing (compact or Indiana)
Minimum 1 year post-licensure clinical PT experience
BLS certification
Strong clinical documentation skills
Must reside 60+ miles from facility (travel assignment requirement)
Preferred Qualifications
Outpatient orthopedic or acute care experience
Experience with diverse patient populations
Familiarity with WebPT or equivalent EHR
