Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience in orthopedics, personal injury, and workers' comp care for a 13-week assignment.

Details

  • Outpatient clinic setting specializing in orthopedics
  • Patient population includes ortho outpatient, personal injury, and workers' comp cases
  • Caseload averages 12-14 patients per day, approximately 60 per week
  • Uses RainTree EMR system
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no weekend shifts
  • 13-week contract length
  • Clinic utilizes double booking as standard practice to manage patient flow

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Experience in orthopedics, outpatient, personal injury, and workers' comp required
  • No new graduates accepted
  • PT license required if applicable
  • Travel pairs accepted

Additional Information

  • Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across a variety of orthopedic conditions, including joint replacements, spinal conditions, and soft tissue injuries
  • Clinic provides full support staff, including front office personnel and PT aides/techs to assist clinicians
  • First day orientation includes meeting staff, introduction to the RainTree EMR, and shadowing treatments
  • Second day typically involves full patient treatment responsibilities
  • Clinicians carry a caseload similar to that of regular clinic employees
