Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday | Shift hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM | Contract length: 13–26 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to a pediatric patient population, working independently
• Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress toward therapeutic goals
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, scheduling requirements, and holiday coverage expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license required — pending licensure not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Pediatrics experience required — this is a hard requirement; candidate will be working independently
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Comfort working in an acute care hospital environment
• Flexibility to accommodate varying shift start times within the 7:30 AM–6:00 PM window
