Job Opportunity – Physical Therapy Assistant – Topeka, KS 66611

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed hours per week. Assignment duration of 89 days (through January 2, 2027).

Requirements:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Active Kansas state PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and therapeutic exercises
