A Physical Therapy license is required prior to submission. This unit sees a high volume of acute care patients, particularly in cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic specialties. Preferably, candidates should have vestibular experience, although it is not mandatory. The facility is equipped with basic rehabilitation equipment, including portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts. Documentation is conducted using a designated system. There is a requirement for one weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours, though current needs are Monday through Friday. Floating may occur across inpatient units and the emergency department. Dress code consists of scrubs, with no specific color required. The unit promotes a collaborative environment with a diverse team of experienced professionals. Therapists will experience a variety of patient diagnoses and will typically be assigned to only 1-2 floors daily. Shift start times are flexible, accommodating beginning times between 7 AM and 8 AM.
