Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,066 per week in Wichita, KS

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapy Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current BLS Certification Certifications: Acute Care PT experience preferred Must-Have: Minimum 6 months current acute care PT experience Experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting Description: Travel opportunity for a Physical Therapist. Every other weekend is required. Number of beds: 41. Current staff estimate: 15-20 therapy staff daily across disciplines. Day Shift requires 2 PTs. Patient ratios: Clinicians carry up to a 6-hour treatment load during an 8-hour shift. Knowledge of equipment: ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital machines is necessary. Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use: Meditech Magic. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Daily treatment consists of gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training. Best personality fit: Team player who is flexible with hours for start/stop treatment times and willing to rotate weekends. Hands-on clinicians are essential for treatment. Clinicians are responsible for tracking time and charges to meet patient therapy requirements. The facility features state-of-the-art technology and equipment, including a full IADL kitchen. This is a new inpatient facility with a focus on providing quality rehabilitation services.
