Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,146 per week in Las Cruces, NM

One weekend day per month may be required, but a flexible day off during the week will be provided if a weekend day is worked. Each therapist is expected to manage a caseload of approximately 10-12 patients. The average patient load is 40, with an average census of 120 in the facility. All clinical staff on assignment must undergo a background check and fingerprinting before being hired. Experience in acute care is preferred but not mandatory. The facility has a very experienced therapy staff that fosters a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Staff members have a long tenure, with many employees having worked in various disciplines for many years. This location offers diverse recreational activities, including mountains and lakes. The climate is characterized by hot summers with low humidity, and the fall is particularly pleasant. The productivity expectation is set at 50%, which is reasonable for an acute care setting.
