This outpatient physical therapy role is based in Brick, New Jersey, a coastal community along the Jersey Shore that offers a highly desirable balance of work and lifestyle. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services to a varied caseload that may include orthopedic, sports, postoperative, and general musculoskeletal patients. Typical responsibilities include performing thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions, providing patient and family education, and coordinating care with referring physicians and other providers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the EMR and contributing to quality improvement and outcomes tracking initiatives.
The typical day includes a steady schedule of one-on-one or small-block patient visits, with an emphasis on personalized care and functional outcomes. Patient volumes are structured to allow for meaningful interaction and thorough treatment sessions while maintaining clinic productivity standards. The caseload often includes a diverse mix of ages and activity levels, offering opportunities to develop or refine areas of clinical interest such as sports rehab, return-to-work training, or balance and fall prevention.
Shifts generally follow standard outpatient clinic hours on weekdays, with possible extended hours or occasional evenings to meet patient needs.
