Must-Have: Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit preferred. Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Description:
Providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically related disorders.
Responsibilities include strengthening, modalities, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and training in activities of daily living.
Participate in documentation, program development, teaching, and enhancement of clinical skills.
Duties involve a variety of therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining and patient education in home safety.
Utilize adaptive equipment and compensation techniques.
Coordinate strengthening and therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education per patient needs.
Demonstrates flexibility in work assignments, including floating to other areas and available to work flexible schedules.
This position may require working standard hours, flexible hours, and weekends or holidays.
