This Physical Therapist position is based in Odenton, Maryland, a vibrant community located in the heart of the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Odenton offers the convenience of suburban living with quick access to both cities, as well as nearby Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay. Residents enjoy a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, along with parks, trails, and recreational facilities. The clinic provides outpatient rehabilitation services with a focus on individualized, evidence-based care. As a Physical Therapist here, you will work in a modern, well-equipped environment designed to support high-quality therapeutic interventions and efficient workflows. In this role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, establish functional diagnoses, and develop customized treatment plans for a diverse outpatient caseload. Typical patients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, work-related musculoskeletal conditions, and chronic pain, as well as those needing balance and fall-prevention programs. A typical day involves conducting one-on-one treatment sessions, supervising therapeutic exercise, providing manual therapy, educating patients on home programs and injury prevention, coordinating care with referring physicians, and documenting all services in the clinic’s EMR system.
Patient scheduling is structured to allow both productivity and quality time with each individual, supporting a strong therapeutic alliance and positive outcomes. You will collaborate closely with physical therapist colleagues, support staff, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure continuity of care and a seamless patient experience. Depending on clinic volume and specialty offerings, you may have opportunities to focus on particular interest areas such as sports medicine, post-operative rehabilitation, or work conditioning.
Shifts are generally daytime hours on weekdays, with a schedule that may include some early morning or early evening appointments to meet patient needs. The environment is designed to facilitate efficient, patient-centered workflow, with treatment spaces and equipment arranged to maximize safety, comfort, and clinical effectiveness.
