Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,246 per week in Bryan, TX

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: PT Specialty: Physical Therapy - Inpatient Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 0800-1630 + alternating weekends, First to Float Experience: 2 years minimum License: Valid PT license required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: New graduates with a strong adult acute clinical background, including trauma and critical care, will be considered. Description: Unit staff will review candidate profiles for consideration. Candidates may not have been employed directly by any facility within the past year. Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. May be required to precept as needed by the unit. Expectations include completing one evaluation per hour. If providing daily treatments, the expectation is ten completed treatments within an eight-hour shift. Primary focus is on acute care. Floor-specific orientation will be provided, covering procedures and protocols based on experience level. Common patient diagnoses include trauma, telemetry, orthopedic, surgical, critical care, neurological, oncology, and general medical conditions. The facility primarily treats adults or older teens. There is no pediatric treatment provided. The hospital may cancel shifts as per their policy. The charting system utilized is MEDITECH.
