Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,286 per week in Aiken, SC

Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT) Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of adult home health experience License: Current license required Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent home health experience is required. Candidate must have reliable transportation and a current driver’s license. Candidate must have agency-required liability insurance. Candidates must be comfortable traveling up to 75 miles from their home clinic. Description: The Physical Therapist will conduct home visits for patients. Periodic office meetings are required. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. The contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients daily, roughly equating to 6-8 points. Each type of visit and activity (documentation, travel, etc.) holds a different point value. No guaranteed hours are offered. In cases of low patient census, the contractor may discuss floating to a nearby clinic to pick up additional hours. Types of cases include start of care and follow-ups. Candidates should be open to weekend requirements, which may vary per location. On-call requirements may vary per job/location and should be discussed during the interview. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Locations include patient homes and facilities. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient appointment. Accepting every scheduled patient is expected, regardless of distance between appointments. Candidates must hit weekly productivity points, which equate to approximately 30 points or 40 hours per week. All overtime must be pre-approved. Candidates are not allowed to be current employees of any healthcare location while applying as travelers. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
