This outpatient physical therapy position is located in Maricopa, Arizona, a thriving and rapidly growing city in the greater Phoenix area. Maricopa offers over 300 days of sunshine each year, beautiful Sonoran Desert views, and convenient access to both Phoenix and Tucson. The typical caseload consists primarily of outpatient orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical patients, with a mix that may include sports-related injuries, spine care, joint replacements, and general strengthening and conditioning needs. You can expect a varied day that includes initial evaluations, individualized treatment sessions, progress notes, and patient education. Treatment sessions may blend manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance and gait training, and functional movement retraining tailored to each patient’s goals.
