Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,598 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 15 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, AK PT License Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted. No weekend requirement, but may include some Saturdays. Open to pending licenses. Description: Outpatient Physical Therapy assignment. Focus on neuro/ortho patients and medically complex cases in an outpatient setting. The position involves working with adults and geriatrics. Charting will be done using an electronic health record system. Daily patient visits will be approximately 10. The facility is a Magnet facility and recognized as one of the best in the area. Responsibilities include providing care and rehabilitation to patients recovering from surgery and other conditions. Skills required include body mechanics, post-operative rehabilitation, and patient education. Participation in interdisciplinary teamwork may be necessary. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Time off requests will be handled on an individual basis. Candidates must be prepared to work three of the five major holidays.
