Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,658 per week in South Portland, ME

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapy Specialty: Home Health Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 40 Hours Variable Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0800-1700, Monday-Friday; 4-10 hour shifts may be considered) Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred; Home Health experience is a plus, but other PT experience will be considered. License: State license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Bachelor's degree or above in Physical Therapy, Driver's license, car, auto insurance Description: Immediate start is needed. Manager interviews will be conducted. Home health office conducts services in the area. The position will primarily involve seeing adults, with occasional school-aged children cases. Common diagnoses include post-ortho surgeries, post-surgeries, fall risks, deconditioning, and mobility issues. A patient load of 20-25 patients per Physical Therapist is expected. Support within the department includes a scheduler and leader available via phone. Technology utilized includes an EMR system. Traveling between locations may require daily travel of 50-100 miles. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation of 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks. Candidates must be available for major and minor holidays, with expectations to work 50% of holidays during the contract. Requests for time off must be approved by the manager.
