Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,676 per week in Manchester, NH

Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Physical Therapy Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year of experience required License: New Hampshire license required; will accept applicants with pending licenses if they can obtain by start date Certifications: BLS, Manual Therapy, Heart Saver CPR equivalent Must-Have: - Experience with home health preferred, but not required - Unit accepts first-time travelers - Occasional weekends may be required Description: This is a home health Physical Therapist position. The manager will consider applicants who do not have home health experience. The role involves making visits to patients’ homes and providing necessary therapy services. You will perform 6 visits per day with no call requirement or float requirement. Candidates must be willing to work with an adult and geriatric population. You will provide initial assessments, including vital signs and fall risk evaluations. The responsibilities include training patients in balance, strengthening, gait, transfer, and stair training. Assessment for equipment needs and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is also essential. Your focus will be on achieving goals to facilitate the discharge of patients to the community. Familiarity with Epic, a charting system, is preferred, but not mandatory. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Candidates should have experience with various diagnoses, including COPD, CHF, and post-operative cases. All travelers must hold a valid state license. References are required. Background checks will be conducted prior to the offer. A drug screening will be required within 14 days of starting the position.
