Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,698 per week in Redding, CA

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: - Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty. - Candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience. - Open to first-time travelers. Description: The unit provides services for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Staffed to cover 7 days a week. Health professionals will work every 3rd weekend, with the possibility of every other weekend. Holidays will be incorporated into the permanent staff rotation for all modalities. Scrub colors include polo-style shirts or burgundy button-down long sleeve shirts. Dark, solid pants are required, and scrubs are not allowed. The facility is stroke certified and treats a variety of diagnoses including cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neuro, and med-surg patients. A pediatrics ward is available but has a low volume case load, and experience with NICU or pediatrics is not required for this position. The Physical Therapy team has a designated team leader available when the manager is not present. Floating to other units is not required. Charting is completed using an electronic medical record system. Professional conduct and adherence to established guidelines are expected.
