Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,832 per week in Oklahoma City, OK

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: FS Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Acute care and trauma experience required License: Current license from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist preferred Certifications: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire Must-Have: - Knowledge of the principles, methods, practices, techniques, equipment, and procedures used in physical therapy. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology sufficient to evaluate and treat patients. - Knowledge of equipment and the ability to adjust it to suit patients' needs. - Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff. - Excellent communication skills in guiding patients to assume responsibility for their treatment and development. - Knowledge of computers. Description: Under minimal direction, perform various therapeutic physical therapy treatments according to the direction of a physician. Interpret physician orders and evaluate patients to formulate a treatment plan aimed at reaching long and short-term goals. Interpret the patient’s response to treatment and modify the treatment plan to meet the current needs of the patient. Participate in the discharge planning of patients and write and instruct patients in a home program. Document treatment results and the patient’s response to treatment in the medical records. Depending on the amount of clinical experience, supervise and assist students during their clinical rotations. Maintain and clean equipment used by the department. Perform other duties as assigned.
