Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,841 per week in San Mateo, CA

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Client Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: PT licensure required; will consider approved license applicants or residents in training Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Strong outpatient orthopedic experience Description: Plans, prepares, and implements individually designed physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients. Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements. Develops and updates the patient's Plan of Care based on data, identified problems, and diagnosis from the exam. Assesses and provides/progresses treatment for patients per plan of care according to established standards. Completes all documentation related to charge capture per established standards. Coordinates patient care effectively and efficiently with other care providers and support team members. Complies with department and organization requirements and responsibilities. Works flexible shift assignments, including days of the week and hours. Provides clinical supervision to assistants and/or aides. Serves as a clinical instructor for assigned students. Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects. Inspects and uses equipment per manufacturers' guidelines, recording data and reporting malfunctions per policy.
