Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,859 per week in Oakland, CA

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (09:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital acute care or inpatient acute rehab required License: State PT License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with neuro patients Description: The schedule for this position will be Tuesday to Saturday. The start time is 9:30 AM, flexible to adjust to 9:00 AM if needed. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in hospital acute care or inpatient acute rehab. Special requirements include being an experienced inpatient acute rehabilitation physical therapist. Candidates must have experience with neuro patients. Duties will involve managing various patient diagnoses including CVA, SCI, TBI, and cardiac conditions. Candidates should be familiar with acute care techniques and rehabilitation practices. Skills required include assessment, patient education, and the use of adaptive devices. Additional experience with interdisciplinary support in therapy services is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong time management and patient care abilities. Team collaboration is essential to provide optimal patient outcomes. Adherence to patient care protocols and safety guidelines is mandatory. A background in trauma or oncology rehabilitation would be beneficial.
