Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Beckley, WV

Pay: $3,057.60 per week

Shifts: M-F, 8am-5pm (No weekends/on call)

Seven Healthcare are seeking a professional and dedicated Physical Therapist for a Contract to Hire position in Beckley, WV. This role involves providing high-quality care in a home health environment, treating patients based on physician orders and referrals. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluations, treatment planning, and patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist
  • Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders/referrals
  • Use appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
  • Review patient records for diagnosis, past history, precautions, and contraindications
  • Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans
  • Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness, patient progress, and modify as needed
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and family
  • Consult with medical providers on evaluation, treatment, and discharge plans
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and incorporate into rehab programs
  • Maintain and submit documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in patient care
  • Participate in staff development programs and obtain continuing education

Requirements of the Physical Therapist
  • WV PT license or compact license
  • HCHB preferred, OASIS and Home Health experience
