Position Summary
The Licensed Physical Therapist evaluates, develops, and implements individualized physical therapy treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, function, and overall quality of life. The therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality rehabilitative care and monitor patient progress.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Evaluation
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
- Assess range of motion, gait, strength, neurological function, and mobility.
- Identify rehabilitation needs and establish treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and clinical documentation.
Treatment Planning
- Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and perform periodic reassessments.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient outcomes.
Collaboration
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Communicate patient progress and recommendations with healthcare providers.
- Assist in developing rehabilitation goals and care plans.
Education & Professional Development
- Participate in continuing education and in-service training.
- Support clinical research and program development initiatives.
- Assist in training physical therapy students, physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and therapy aides.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Ohio Physical Therapist License (Required)
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
