Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $80,000 to $100,000 per year in Jacksonville, FL

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA for PT candidates. PTA candidates must hold an accredited PTA degree.
• Active Florida state license required to start the position for PTs or PTAs.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience or willingness to work in adult outpatient orthopedics setting. No pediatrics or neurology caseload.
• Ability to collaborate within a multi-therapist clinic and provide flexible scheduling coverage (including occasional double-booking and overlapping appointments).

Clinical Focus & Caseload:

• Adult outpatient orthopedics only.
• Productivity model is hourly-based. Typical full-time caseload ~60 patients/week, averaging 1.5 patients per hour.
• Treatment model combines 1:1 and concurrent care. Occasional double-booking and overlapping appointments are common.
• PTAs work alongside PTs and may float between clinicians as needed.

Team Structure & Schedule:

• Typical PT to PTA ratio is 1:1 with scheduling flexibility.
• Clinic staffing varies from small sites (about 3 therapists) to larger sites (up to 11 therapists).
• Preferred schedule is 4x10. Flexible Monday–Friday coverage available within 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. One-hour lunch. One weekday off that rotates approximately every six months.
