Physical Therapist – Pediatric Inpatient / Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13-Week Assignment) | Full-Time | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | Onsite | Some weekends required (approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Deliver patient care in accordance with facility protocols and within the clinician's professional scope of practice
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using Epic electronic health records system
• Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled (approximately 1–2 shifts per month)
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Alaska Physical Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission for auto-offer consideration)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience; first-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Must commit to all requested time off being submitted upfront at the time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Prior travel therapy assignment experience
