Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 32 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to adult and older adult patients (18+) in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting across assigned floors
Mobilize patients with complex medical equipment including ventilators, tracheostomies, nasogastric tubes, PEG tubes, and IV lines
Utilize cardiac chairs, Hoyer lifts, and other mobility equipment to support patient rehabilitation and functional progression
Manage a full caseload of patients presenting with diagnoses such as respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, brain injuries (CVA, TBI, anoxia), and wound care needs
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the ProTouch electronic health record (EHR) system
Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and an outgoing, team-oriented approach
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
Current Texas PT license or valid PT Compact License
BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
Ability to work weekend hours with prior approval for flex scheduling
Preferred Experience / Skills
ICU experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with complex patient populations including ventilator-dependent and neurologically impaired patients
Experience with ProTouch or similar EHR platforms
