    Physical Therapist (PT) – Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) – Travel

    Location

    Arlington, Texas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 32 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to adult and older adult patients (18+) in a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting across assigned floors
    • Mobilize patients with complex medical equipment including ventilators, tracheostomies, nasogastric tubes, PEG tubes, and IV lines
    • Utilize cardiac chairs, Hoyer lifts, and other mobility equipment to support patient rehabilitation and functional progression
    • Manage a full caseload of patients presenting with diagnoses such as respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, brain injuries (CVA, TBI, anoxia), and wound care needs
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the ProTouch electronic health record (EHR) system
    • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and an outgoing, team-oriented approach
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist program
    • Current Texas PT license or valid PT Compact License
    • BLS certification required
    • Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
    • Ability to work weekend hours with prior approval for flex scheduling
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ICU experience strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with complex patient populations including ventilator-dependent and neurologically impaired patients
    • Experience with ProTouch or similar EHR platforms
