Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 40 Hours per Week | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 1 Weekend per Month Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, intensive inpatient rehabilitation services to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
• Evaluate and treat patients aged 14 years and older across neurological, orthopedic, and spinal cord diagnoses

• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Synaptic, TechnoBody, InMotion, Ekso Skeleton, and Real VR Systems alongside traditional gym equipment
• Maintain a patient caseload consistent with a 6:1 patient-to-therapist ratio within a 34-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans throughout each patient's recovery journey
• Document patient progress and clinical findings accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Montana Physical Therapist licensure required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Ability to work a day shift schedule including one weekend per month
• Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Experience treating common diagnoses such as stroke, pelvic and lower extremity fractures, amputations, brain injury, and post-laminectomy patients
• Familiarity with advanced rehabilitation technology and equipment used in acute IRF settings
