    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to progress patients toward discharge goals
    • Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions; coordinate equipment trialing, patient and family training, home exercise program issuance, and planning for continuing services
    • Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Ensure all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required
    • Supervise and mentor students as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate oversight, learning objectives, and evaluations
    • Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act, maintain professional licensure in good standing, and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Missouri)
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
    • Knowledge of and adherence to applicable state and federal regulatory guidelines governing physical therapy practice
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling, infection control, and hazard reporting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting
    • Familiarity with interdisciplinary team collaboration and discharge planning processes
    • Prior experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
    • Active involvement in professional organizations or continuing education beyond minimum requirements
