Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with alternating weekends; comp day provided during the week for weekend days worked

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient acute care physical therapy evaluations at a rate of approximately one completed evaluation per hour
• Provide daily treatments with an expectation of 10 completed treatments per 8-hour shift when applicable
• Treat a diverse adult patient population across service lines including Level III trauma, telemetry, orthopedics, surgical, critical care, neurology, oncology, and general medical
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTAs and rehab technicians
• Precept staff or students as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in inpatient acute care physical therapy
• Ability to work alternating weekends as part of the regular schedule
• Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
• Compliance with facility dress code (maroon scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level III trauma center or critical care environment
• Familiarity with neurological, oncological, and orthopedic patient populations
• New graduates with strong adult acute care clinical experience including trauma and critical care will be considered
