    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory agency requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervision to maximize outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
    • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist (new graduates will not be considered)
    • Experience in an outpatient setting with demonstrated clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills
    • Ability to complete thorough and compliant medical record documentation in accordance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and adherence to professional codes of conduct
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Outpatient orthopedic experience strongly preferred
    • Experience developing and mentoring Physical Therapy students in a clinical setting
    • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development activities
