Physical Therapist – Acute Rehab
LocationCookeville, TN
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; occasional Saturday half-days
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services within an acute rehabilitation setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 6–7 patients per day
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for acute rehab patients
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using Paragon charting system
- Participate in occasional weekend coverage as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Tennessee state license or valid compact license (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility location
- Proficiency or ability to learn Paragon electronic charting system
- Travel pairs are permitted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation environment
- First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply
