Travel Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Projected Start: June 2026
Key Responsibilities- Perform evaluations and treatments for patients on an inpatient rehabilitation unit (15-bed unit)
- Manage a caseload of approximately 5 patients per shift
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient records
- Operate basic lift equipment and therapy-specific equipment as needed
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team including PT/PTA, OT/COTA, and rehab tech staff
- Float to acute care hospital areas as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work at least 2 weekend days per month
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Experience with CARE scoring
- Team-oriented, energetic personality well-suited for a collaborative rehab environment
