Travel Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Start Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and treatments for patients on an inpatient rehabilitation unit (15-bed unit)
• Manage a caseload of approximately 5 patients per shift
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient records
• Operate basic lift equipment and therapy-specific equipment as needed
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary rehab team including PT/PTA, OT/COTA, and rehab tech staff
• Float to acute care hospital areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work at least 2 weekend days per month

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Experience with CARE scoring
• Team-oriented, energetic personality well-suited for a collaborative rehab environment
