Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM | 40 hours/week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment in a short-term acute care setting with an average daily census of 11
• Manage patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance, including co-treatments and work with ventilated patients
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day as census demands
• Work within a department that operates 7 days a week, including a required weekend day
• May be asked to float to surrounding clinics based on skills and census needs
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols (BCMA); document using Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Physical Therapist license — must be in hand at time of start
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association — required
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Ability to float without restrictions within the facility and to nearby affiliate locations
• Must be available to work 2 facility-recognized holidays during the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Generalist background with confidence treating a broad range of medical diagnoses
• Experience working with ventilated patients in an acute care environment
• Cerner EMR experience
• First-time travelers are accepted
