Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Travel Contract)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within a free-standing inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
• Deliver care to an adult patient population including stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury, debility, amputation, non-traumatic and traumatic spinal cord injury, cardiac/pulmonary conditions, and neurological disorders such as MS, Parkinson's, and myopathy
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G systems in patient treatment
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Epic electronic health record system
• Maintain a patient caseload ratio of approximately 5:1 within a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Collaborate closely with nursing and interdisciplinary therapy teams to support cohesive, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• Required certification or demonstrated competency with adult patient populations
• Education: BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with neurological, stroke, and brain injury patient populations
• Experience with Epic EHR
