Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within a free-standing inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
Deliver care to an adult patient population including stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury, debility, amputation, non-traumatic and traumatic spinal cord injury, cardiac/pulmonary conditions, and neurological disorders such as MS, Parkinson's, and myopathy
Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G systems in patient treatment
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Epic electronic health record system
Maintain a patient caseload ratio of approximately 5:1 within a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
Collaborate closely with nursing and interdisciplinary therapy teams to support cohesive, patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Indiana
Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
Experience working with adult patient populations
Required certification or demonstrated competency with adult patient populations
Education: BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with neurological, stroke, and brain injury patient populations
Experience with Epic EHR
