Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 40 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients in a free-standing inpatient rehab hospital setting
Treat a diverse patient population including stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury, debility, amputation, non-traumatic and traumatic spinal cord injury, cardiac and pulmonary conditions, and neurological disorders such as MS, Parkinson's, and myopathy
Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including Lite Gait, Biodex, and Zero-G systems as part of individualized treatment plans
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic EHR
Collaborate closely with nursing and interdisciplinary therapy team members to deliver cohesive, patient-centered care
Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 within a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Indiana (compact eligible state)
Minimum of 1–2 years of physical therapy experience
Experience working with adult patient populations
Required education: BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy
Ability to work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Familiarity with Epic EHR documentation
Experience treating neurological, cardiac, or pulmonary diagnoses in a rehabilitation context
