Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time (32–40 hours per week) | Monday–Friday | Days | Onsite | Outpatient
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals as required for clinical care
Design functional treatment programs that support effective patient return to community activities and progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop clinically reasoned treatment plans
Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts
Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Experience with clinical documentation systems and compliance with payer-specific documentation requirements
Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
