    Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and facilitating effective return to community activities
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional organizations, applying learned information to meet organizational objectives
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Colorado
    • Adherence to the state Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements
    • Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans in an outpatient setting
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control protocols
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting with proficiency in 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visit structures
    • Experience with clinical student supervision and mentorship
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiative participation
