Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Primarily Monday–Friday with possible weekend coverage (relief day provided when weekend shift is scheduled)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to medical/surgical and orthopedic patients in an acute care setting
• Work within a Level I Trauma Center environment, managing a diverse and complex patient population
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Provide coverage around holiday periods as needed (no holiday work required)

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous acute care experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required
• Demonstrated experience treating medical/surgical and orthopedic patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex trauma patients in a high-acuity hospital environment
• Strong interdisciplinary communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling needs, including occasional weekend shifts
