Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Guide and monitor patient care across all aspects of treatment and follow-up, including accurate chart documentation
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
• Communicate with physicians, front office staff, and other team members to ensure quality patient care and scheduling coordination
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable federal and state requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Proficiency with EMR systems, ICD-10 coding, and general computer skills (Word, Internet, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with transfers, mobility, and walking safety
• Ability to remain physically mobile, including prolonged standing, walking, and stool sitting during 8–10 hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Continuing education coursework relevant to physical therapy
• Familiarity with PT billing procedures including Medicare, workers' compensation, private pay, auto, liens, and cash pay
• Experience supervising PT Assistants and Aides in a clinical setting
