Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Perform 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits in an outpatient setting
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge and effective return to community activities
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients
• Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student supervision programs as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Colorado
• Adherence to state-specific Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements
• Ability to complete all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Demonstrated competency in clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and documentation standards
• Commitment to patient and employee safety practices including safe patient handling and infection control protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
• Involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations
