Contract | Days | Shifts vary (typically 8 hours); schedule may include weekdays and weekends (e.g., Wed–Sun or Thu–Mon); holidays not required

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across assigned areas, which may include inpatient, outpatient, and/or rehabilitation settings
• Manage a patient caseload of up to 9 patients per day in outpatient or up to 13 patients per day in inpatient settings; caseload in rehab varies
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner Powerchart EMR
• Collaborate with rehab aides and other therapy team members to deliver coordinated patient care
• Float to other areas within the therapy department as needed based on facility demands
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, cardiac, and med-surg conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitation patient populations
• Ability to work a variable schedule including weekends as specified per requisition
• Compliance with facility dress code: maroon polo shirt, dark-colored pants, and closed-toe shoes (lab coat optional)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner Powerchart EMR
• Inpatient clinical experience may be considered in lieu of a full year of experience for qualified candidates
