Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
Design functional treatment programs focused on progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay and facilitating effective return to community activities.
Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia).

Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts.
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and safe patient handling practices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
Experience with clinical documentation systems and familiarity with insurance authorization processes.
Active involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations.
