Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Outpatient | Days | 8-hour shifts: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Weekend rotation may apply (1 shift per week, with corresponding weekday time off)
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat 8–12 outpatient patients per day across assigned areas of the department
Provide physical therapy services in an outpatient setting, with assignments matched to the therapist's area of clinical comfort and experience
Collaborate with rehab aides and PT assistants to deliver patient care
Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system
Participate in a one-day department-specific orientation including EMR training and supervised shadowing
Required Qualifications
Active California Physical Therapist license
Current BLS certification
Must pass a drug screen including a negative result for nicotine/cotinine (facility is nicotine-free; exceptions considered only for prescribed nicotine replacement therapy)
Demonstrated experience in the specific clinical area being requested
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience treating orthopedic and neurological conditions in an outpatient setting
Prior experience with Epic EMR
Willingness to extend beyond the initial 13-week contract period
