    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments in an outpatient setting, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of California
    • Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required — new graduates will not be considered
    • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience participating in or supervising student clinical education programs
    • Active involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development initiatives
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality of care initiatives
