Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00–18:30) | Minimum 2 Weekends Per Month Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment in an acute care inpatient setting
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10 patients
- Deliver care within an orthopedic-heavy patient population at a Stroke Certified Center
- Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
- Float between facilities within the state as required by assignment needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience (candidates with less experience will be screened)
- Active California Physical Therapist license – must be in hand prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
- Clean licensure and background history – any hits must be disclosed at time of submission
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in a Stroke Certified or Magnet-designated facility
