Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) – Travel Contract

Paramount, California

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Day Shift | PRN Guaranteed Hours | Start Time: 8:00 AM

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting for an adult patient population
• Maintain a patient-to-therapist ratio of 4:1, delivering individualized therapy plans across a variety of diagnoses and treatment needs
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including LiteGait, Hoyer lift, and Sara Stedy during patient care
• Document patient progress and treatment records accurately using facility EHR systems including Protouch, Net Health, and ProDocs
• Float to the LTACH unit within the same building as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient outcomes

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Experience in ARU, LTACH, or acute care settings

• Prior travel therapy experience or ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and workflows
• Familiarity with rehabilitation EHR platforms such as Protouch, Net Health, or ProDocs
• Experience working with a broad range of diagnoses and treatment approaches in an acute or post-acute setting

• Work within a well-equipped 18-bed ARU facility utilizing advanced rehabilitation technology in a collaborative team environment
