Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday with Saturday PRN | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit setting
- Evaluate and treat patients to restore function, improve mobility, and support recovery goals
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using facility EMR system (Meditech)
- Float to Medical/Surgical and ICU units as needed to support patient care demands
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Kansas
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Ability to work in an acute care hospital environment including float coverage to Med/Surg and ICU
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior inpatient rehabilitation unit experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in acute care settings including ICU and Medical/Surgical units
